A bank branch dedicated to athletes at Banque Populaire du Sud

The new branch, named POP-SPORT, offers specific services to high-level athletes, whether they are students, professionals or in the process of retraining at the end of their sporting careers. The first of its kind in France!

POP-SPORT is aimed at all individuals whose principal source of current or future income is, or will be, derived from practicing a sport, i.e. professional sportsmen and women, and students intending to embark upon this type of career. The account advisors at the branch will arrange to meet them, notably in university sports departments, platforms for young hopefuls, and training centers.

Poéma Newland, a young Olympic kitesurfing vice-champion and student at the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Science Po Paris), will be the public face of POP-SPORT and the ideal advisor for all future customers thanks to her experience in high-level sport and her familiarity with all the different facets of this activity.

With this initiative, Banque Populaire du Sud is adding another brick to its strategy of specializing its points of sale and taking full account of the specific needs of its customers, a guarantee of high-quality service and performance.
