Crédit Coopératif, and more specifically its business center located in Lyon Part Dieu, is completing – in association with its customer the Tremplin association – a 1 million euro round of financing with investors from the social and solidarity economy (SSE), including entities belonging to Groupe BPCE.
Tremplin is an association set up by a group of citizens in the Ain département in 1987 to promote social inclusion through a wide range of activities (adapted housing, emergency accommodation, social support for RSA work welfare beneficiaries, integration through economic activity).
The funds raised will be used to acquire premises to shelter homeless people in winter and to launch a real estate project dedicated to the creation of a transition facility (twenty housing units), and it will strengthen integration via employment activities with the opening of a new retail store.
This operation clearly reflects the synergies generated by the Group’s entities: the Social & Solidarity Economy branch of the Caisse d’Epargne Rhône Alpes worked with Crédit Coopératif, which is well acquainted with the Tremplin association thanks to its involvement in the Bourg-en-Bresse Territorial Economic Cooperation Cluster.
The associative securities (bonds issued by a non-profit-making association) are placed in France with SSE investors, mutual insurance companies, and management companies, including the specialized professional fund Axa Future Generation managed by the asset management subsidiary of the Crédit Coopératif Group, Ecofi Investissements, the IDES fund managed by Esfin Gestion, a subsidiary of Ecofi Investissements, France Active Investissement, Mirova and the mutual insurance company ENTRENOUS. The co-financing of this project demonstrates collective values of local support and commitment to a more socially supportive world.
