On Wednesday October 13, the two teams representing Groupe BPCE took the start of the 750-km relay race from Paris to Bourg Saint-Maurice-les Arcs in the French Alps.
That’s it: they’re off! Our 28 runners set off yesterday on the 34th edition of the Course du Cœur, a relay race organized by the Trans-Forme association (a federative association of transplant and dialysis patients) with a view to raising public awareness of the success of organ transplants and the need for continuing organ donations.
Committed to this unique sporting adventure, Groupe BPCE is represented for the first time by two teams with runners from the BPCE Community taking part in the race alongside the team entered by Natixis, a long-standing partner of the event for more than 10 years.
Present at the start, Laurent Mignon, Chairman of the Management Board of Groupe BPCE, Christophe Lanne, Chief Transformation & Talent Office for Natixis Investment Managers, Marie Oteiza, European champion in modern pentathlon and a member of the support system set up by the Group, and Camille Chat, an international rugby union player on the Racing 92 team, were all keen to lend their support and encouragement to the Group’s 28 sportsmen and women by participating in the prologue (see video). All together for the Course du Cœur! The runners are due to arrive at Bourg Saint-Maurice-les Arcs on October 17.
