Exactly one year from now, on August 28th, the Paris 2024 Paralympic opening ceremony will kick off. Groupe BPCE, Premium Partner of Paris 2024 and the French Paralympic team will support the athletes throughout the competition.
For the first time in its history, Paris will host the Paralympic Games from August 28th to September 8th, 2024 as the Olympic flame lights up the city and the world cheers on the 4,400 athletes taking part and celebrates the performance of these exceptional sportsmen and women.
Exactly one year from today, people will tune in from all over the world for the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. At Groupe BPCE, Premium Partner of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, and all our subsidiaries we are fired up and ready to play our part in building a more inclusive and caring society—and change how we as a society see and think about disability.
These goals are not just for the Paralympics. They are an integral part of the cooperative values practiced day after day by all Group companies. And they are fundamental to the legacy of Paris 2024. We see this as a unique opportunity to shift perceptions and galvanize French society to meet the challenges we face, especially when it comes to eliminating discrimination against the disabled.
Our Group companies are proud to make this commitment real by providing individual support to 68 para-athletes, 26 of them women and 42 men. Fostering personalized relationships, we work together with them to provide support not only on their journey to realize their dream of Paralympic victory and medals, but also in their professional careers. The Group also partners the French Paralympic Team and will be there for the team members throughout this amazing undertaking.
The eyes of the world will be on the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and all the talented athletes taking part. The Games will provide unparalleled visibility and the opportunity to electrify the nation, to thrill us all wherever we are.

22 sports and 23 disciplines for 549 events, spread over 269 sessions and eleven days of competition held in outstanding venues. That’s the official program for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Paris expects to play host to almost 350,000 disabled visitors for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
