Green bond: expertise recognized by the international finance industry

On September 10th, Groupe BPCE received the “best green/SRI deal of the year” award from Global Capital, a finance advisory firm enjoying reference status in its domain, for the green bond issue completed in May earlier this year in a covered bond format.

International experts applauded the innovative nature of the transaction, designed to refinance energy-efficient housing, and the Group’s expertise in green and socially responsible bond issues.

After five public issues of social bonds representing a volume in excess of €3.1 billion and three public issues of green bonds representing an aggregate total of €2.1 billion, Groupe BPCE confirms its front-ranking position as a player committed to the responsible financing of local and regional France.
