Groupe BPCE took advantage of its presence at the International Market for Real-Estate Professionals (MIPIM) to reassert its support for all stakeholders in the real estate industry
Several Group entities – Banque Populaire, Caisse d’Epargne, Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking, Banque Palatine, Socfim, BPCE Lease, BPCE Real Estate Solutions, and Compagnie Européenne de Garanties et Cautions, (CEGC, a company specializing in financial guarantees) – were all present at the MIPIM from March 14 to 17 to welcome their clientele of property developers, investors, real estate agents, land developers, and planners. This international tradeshow provided an opportunity for our experts to strengthen their relationships with their customers, hold discussions, and develop new projects, in addition to expanding our portfolio.
In an economic environment marked by sharply higher interest rates, rising inflation, a downward trend starting in 2022 in the value of real estate assets, and the challenge of the environmental transition, real estate professionals are facing a wide range of different challenges. At the MIPIM tradeshow, the Group’s different entities once again demonstrated their ability to support all the players in this sector while simultaneously highlighting the complementary nature of their expertise.
Thanks to its strong local and regional presence, the Group provides one quarter of all real estate financing in France and now stands as one of the front-ranking bankers in this sector. How? Thanks to our strong presence in all market segments (new/existing residential properties, office buildings, retail premises, hotels, logistics facilities), our know-how in the arrangement and syndication of financing solutions, and the wealth of synergies developed between the Group’s different entities in the area of origination, financing, and advisory services. Groupe BPCE’s presence at the MIPIM was designed to further consolidate this leading position with real estate professionals.
Nicolas Namias, Chairman of the Management Board of BPCE, said: “At this tradeshow, Groupe BPCE reasserted its well-established position in the real estate ecosystem. Supported by the extensive expertise of our teams and companies, we accompany all the players in the real estate industry. Our commitment to this clientele and our understanding not only of the challenges facing the sector but also of the major environmental and social changes currently underway, enable us to provide them with long-term support.”
