This new partnership will give the Group direct access to information about the ambitions and needs of towns and cities in areas related to the sports economy.
On November 5, Groupe BPCE became the new partner of Territoires d’Evénements Sportifs (‘Territories of Sporting Events’ or TES), an association dedicated to bringing together towns and cities hosting major sporting events in France.
In pursuit of its ambition to promote these events and the development of regional France in favor of local residents, the TES association provides a forum for discussions, sharing, and the forging of privileged contacts for all those involved in sport and the events industry – local authorities, companies, federations, etc. – with a focus on all the different economic, societal, and environmental dimensions of these activities.
A direct and privileged link with local authorities
In their capacity as local players deeply committed to sport, Groupe BPCE and its companies will actively build on this new partnership to strengthen their direct links with local authorities and regional players, and to consolidate their positioning as the leading banking and insurance partners of the sports economy. Thanks to its status as a Premium Partner of the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024, the Group is also reasserting its commitment to making Paris 2024 the Games for all of France, for all its regions, and for all the French.
The major international sporting events to be staged over the next three years will bring a host of economic opportunities. Business contacts have already been made between Group companies and elected officials to share potential investments. The ball is already rolling!
