Natixis is a major sponsor of the “Botticelli, Artist & Designer” exhibition scheduled to run from September 10, 2021 to January 24, 2022 at the Jacquemart-André Museum in Paris.
The Jacquemart-André Museum is celebrating one of the most illustrious artists of the Italian Renaissance with this exhibition that brings together some forty major works – paintings, pieces of furniture, tapestries, decorative panels, etc. – to create an original interpretive dialogue between them. The exhibition includes unique creations by Botticelli as well as objets d’art and mass-produced works that enable visitors to immerse themselves in the master’s studio, a veritable melting pot of collective intelligence given expression through multiple talents: assistants, disciples, students, and great painters in the making.
The true significance of Natixis’ long-standing commitment to culture is made evident in its support of this exhibition. Botticelli’s entrepreneurial spirit devoted to developing the talents of his contemporaries has a very special resonance for Natixis.
Echoing the permanent collection of the Jacquemart-André museum and its Italian rooms, this exhibition invites visitors to rediscover the universal and particularly modern character of Botticelli’s workshop, an unfailing source of scientific and cultural inspiration.
