2024 Olympic Games: a “Frank” success!
On Wednesday, September 13, the members of the International Olympic Committee, meeting in session in Lima, the capital of Peru, designated Paris as the host city for the 2024 Olympic Games by a show of hands.
In doing so, they confirmed the agreement reached this summer to establish the dual designation of Paris and Los Angeles to host the Games: Paris in 2024 and the Californian city in 2028.
An important moment for French sport
Paris has finally won the Olympic Games after three unsuccessful attempts. This award is an important moment for French sport, a decision that athletes have long been waiting for and that will have lasting consequences. The organization of the Olympic Games will create a tremendous sporting momentum throughout the country.
