e-Voyageurs SNCF chooses Natixis Payments for its Personal Mobility Assistant

A new strategic step for SNCF in the development of a Personal Mobility Assistant for spring 2019

Within the framework of the development of its Personal Mobility Assistant, the SNCF group has teamed up with Natixis Payments to offer its customers a single payment solution. Natixis Payments, a major player in all connected services related to payments, provides an essential building block for the Personal Mobility Assistant, which will enable everyone to be informed and to confidently book, pay and validate all their mobility transactions using the same application.

A few days after the announcement of e-Voyageurs SNCF, the new entity set up to drive the creation of a Personal Mobility Assistant for spring 2019, the SNCF group is speeding up the pace of its innovation strategy and today announced an industrial partnership with Natixis Payments for the development of a single, secure payment solution in a multimodal and connected world.

Natixis Payments has developed for the SNCF group a solution that is fully integrated with the Personal Mobility Assistant to simplify the payment services associated with all forms of mobility. Thanks to the S-money digital platform, customers will eventually be able to pay for all new mobility transactions with a single click. This payment solution will manage the receipt and repayment of funds to third parties.

“We are both leaders in innovation, and we are delighted with this partnership with Natixis Payments, the cornerstone and first essential building block for the development of a Personal Mobility Assistant. This is a key step in our strategy to offer our customers increasingly fluid and personalized journeys in an environment of trust. It is also a major turning point in our ambition to revolutionize mobility and become a leader in MaaS* in France,” explains Alexandre Viros, Managing Director of e-Voyageurs SNCF.

“We are very proud to support the SNCF group in its omnichannel innovation strategy and to contribute to e-Voyageurs SNCF’s new value proposition in terms of mobility. Our capacity for innovation and our experience in electronic wallets and collections on behalf of third parties lead us to develop new, secure, digital purchasing paths. Fully integrated into the customer’s experience, they are particularly well suited to the transport sector,” says Pierre-Antoine Vacheron, member of Natixis' General Management Committee in charge of payments.
