On track for the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic Games

As a partner of the French Olympic Committee (CNOSF), Groupe BPCE is mobilizing its support in favor of the French Olympic Team during the XXIII Winter Olympics to be held in South Korea from February 9 to 25, 2018.

Groupe BPCE: supporting the French Olympic team

After the Olympics in Vancouver, London, Sochi and Rio, Groupe BPCE renewed its partnership with the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) at the end of 2016 and is once again supporting the French Olympic Team for the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic Games. On this occasion, the Group and its principal brands – Banque Populaire, Caisse d'Epargne and Natixis – staged various operations to celebrate this major sporting event.

Votre Coach by Groupe BPCE: a 100% mobile website

On the occasion of the Games, the Votre Coach.fr web platform is being revamped with a brand new 100% mobile site. This website – the only one of its kind exclusively dedicated to giving sports coaches an opportunity to tell their stories first hand – is designed with the general public and all sports fans in mind. Throughout the year, coaches assigned to the French Olympic team and representing all sporting disciplines will be filmed talking about, and analyzing, the work they do with their athletes. On the occasion of the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic Games, Votre Coach enjoyed exclusive access to Stéphane Bouthiaux, the coach assigned to the French biathlon team, working with his athletes in their preparatory stage. And every day, live from PyeongChang, Votre Coach will broadcast on its website and social networks the latest news about the Olympic coaches at these crucial moments of the competition.

Caisse d'Epargne: on their marks for PyeongChang

The Caisse d'Epargne Team, set up in 2010, is the most widely known team of Olympic athletes in France*. The French savings bank goes beyond mere traditional sponsorship activities to position itself as a real partner actively involved alongside the sportsmen and women themselves. It provides long-term support to the athletes in its Team such as, for example, Nelly Moenne Loccoz, who has been a member of the Caisse d'Epargne Team for nearly eight years. Thirteen athletes from the Caisse d'Epargne Team have been selected to participate in the PyeongChang Olympic Games. For this occasion, the Caisse d'Epargne is planning to roll out a major media campaign, a digital strategy on social networks with the #EspritGlisse hashtag along with a large number of competitions and events. In addition to supporting its Team, the Caisse d'Epargne has been a partner of all the disciplines of the French Ski Federation (FFS) for more than 20 years.

Banque Populaire: skipper or skier, keep a tight grip!

Banque Populaire has decided to set up a two-pronged communication campaign to demonstrate its support for the French Olympic Team. A competition was launched more than two months ago on the brand's Instagram account to invite participants to post a visual that illustrates, for them, the "#NeRienLacher" hashtag (Keep a tight grip! or Don’t let anything go!). The winner, chosen by a jury chaired by Armel Le Cléac'h, will travel to PyeongChang with the person of his/her choice and enable the Banque Populaire community to share in this exceptional event. What is more, in view of the similarities between the worlds of sailing and skiing, Armel Le Cléac'h and the members of the Banque Populaire Team, in their capacity as high-level athletes, will use the social networks to express their support for the French Olympic Team throughout these Winter Games.
