Twenty-one new winners for the Banque Populaire Corporate Foundation

Created in 1992, the Foundation is the patronage vehicle of the Banque Populaire banks in the fields of culture and solidarity

The Foundation is active in three areas: music, disability and the arts & crafts, and has set itself the target of discovering volunteers with original life projects, giving priority to talent, creativity, and commitment.

On December 12, 2018, the Board of Directors of the Banque Populaire Corporate Foundation selected 21 new winners, presented by the Banque Populaire banks.

The “Music Selection Panel,” chaired by composer Philippe Hersant, chose seven candidates, including composer Matteo Franceschini and six instrumentalists. The “Disability Selection Panel,” chaired by Dr. Bertrand Brugerolle, selected ten life projects that met the core values such as the desire to undertake, audacity and courage. Five of them are high-level athletes (photo of Charlotte Fairbank). The “Arts & Crafts Selection Panel,” chaired by Gérard Desquand, a heraldist engraver, proposed four craftsmen who will enrich the Foundation with their talent.

The factor that will now make the difference is the Foundation's action: it must intervene at a decisive moment in its candidates’ life paths, and allow a new and foundational experience for the winners.
