Groupe BPCE present at MIPIM
MIPIM, the largest market for real-estate professionals, took place in Cannes. Groupe BPCE used the opportunity to reassert its positioning and the expertise of its businesses in the sector.
For Groupe BPCE, this unmissable event provides the chance to exchange with key players in the sector. Banques Populaires, Caisses d’Epargne, Natixis, Socfim and Banque Palatine were all there to demonstrate their know-how, dynamism and range of expertise.
Christine Fabresse, Groupe BPCE’s Deputy CEO of Retail Banking and Insurance, emphasized the group’s engagement with all real-estate professionals, conducted in partnership mode and from a long-term perspective. “Our companies finance the real-estate projects of over one household in four in France and one real-estate development project in three, and have been growing continuously in the sector for several years. 2018 was a pretty exceptional year, in which we released close to €50bn of new loans to finance households in their projects. 2019 is set to be an important year, when we will be integrating Crédit Foncier’s capabilities and activities very closely into the Banques Populaires, the Caisses d’Epargne and BPCE. This operation will make us even more effective and capable of serving you better, as we deploy all this expertise in close proximity to the regions where we operate and your teams, whether in terms of the customer experience or tools and credit scoring.”
MIPIM, the international market for real-estate professionals held on 13-15 March in Cannes, brought together the most influential real-estate players. All in all, it attracted 26,000 participants from over 100 countries. The event provided the opportunity for all these players, whether developers, investors, real-estate dealers, real-estate advisors or regional authorities, to present their activities and projects, make contacts and forge partnerships.
