Nearly 20,000 students invited a banker into their classrooms
The 5th edition of the “I invite a banker into my classroom” operation, launched by the French Banking Federation (FBF), has enabled more than 19,700 children in 788 different 4th and 5th grade classes (years 5 and 6) to discover some of the basic notions of financial and budgetary education.
The Banque Populaire banks (and CASDEN, in particular) and the Caisses d'Epargne along with their respective national Federations have been deeply involved in this initiative, alongside Finance & Pédagogie, the long-standing partner of the operation and one of its most committed players.
All in all, the involvement of the Group's employees made it possible to stage 230 workshops between January and June 2019.
The Finances & Pédagogie association, set up in 1957 by the Caisses d'Epargne, carries out awareness-building and training sessions to encourage responsibility and financial autonomy.
