The aim of this new business activity, which operates as a bank as well as a business center, is to satisfy the needs and expectations of companies and individuals working in the region's marine ecosystem.
The Caisse d'Epargne Côte d'Azur (CECAZ) is pursuing its strategy of supporting sectors that contribute to the region's influence and, as such, is creating a specialized activity dedicated to boating and the world of the sea. More than just a bank, Nautibanque is also a business center open to all players in this industrial sector. The all-service system makes it possible to cover all needs: financing of business activities, supporting companies in the international arena, cash-flow optimization, and the simplification of day-to-day banking activities.
The new activity will cover the needs of companies and individuals forming part of the nautical ecosystem: boaters (investment in berths or the purchase of boats), yacht clubs, dealers (financing solutions for customers), traders, charter companies, ship-owners, shipyards, importers, fishermen, nautical associations, riggers, and other supply companies...
Four experts comprise the Nautibanque team, which already serves nearly 90 CECAZ customers generating net banking income worth a total of 5 million euros, with the aim of multiplying this figure by a factor of three or four in the near future.
As a partner in the management of the port of Antibes and administrator of the Port Fréjus semi-public company, CECAZ will support structural projects in the region, such as the construction and renovation of port infrastructure.
On the occasion of the launch of Nautibanque and during the Cannes Yachting Festival, CECAZ signed a partnership agreement with the Union of Yachting Marinas in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region (Union des ports de plaisance PACA, or UPACA) and the French Nautical Industries Federation (FIN).
