Message from Laurent Mignon following the hostage-taking incident in a branch of Bred bank

I would like to share with you the joy and relief I felt yesterday at the positive outcome of yesterday's hostage taking at the BRED branch in Le Havre. I would like to offer my support and that of the entire management team of Groupe BPCE to our colleagues who were held hostage, to their families and, more generally, to all the people working for BRED. I would also like to thank all those within BRED and within the Group who mobilized their efforts in support of their colleagues at this difficult time and address a particular word of thanks to the police officers who, thanks to their immense professionalism, made this happy outcome possible.
