Mirova, the Natixis Investment Managers affiliate dedicated to sustainable investment, has been awarded the Relance – or “Stimulus” – label for its Insertion Emplois Dynamique fund.
Launched on October 19 by the French Treasury Department, the aim of this label is to direct French people's savings towards investment vehicles that support the economic stimulus plan unveiled by the French government in September.
The Relance label may be awarded to listed or unlisted funds, provided that at least 30% of the fund is invested in the equity of French companies and that at least 10% is dedicated to investing in very small companies (VSEs), small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) or intermediate-sized enterprises (ISEs) headquartered in France.
For many years now, the Insertion Emplois Dynamique fund has been investing in companies that create jobs in France. It is by far the largest of the ten funds awarded the label so far with 850 million euros, the majority of which comes from customers of the Banques Populaires and Caisses d'Epargne networks. It is also the only fund on this list that has also been awarded, in addition to the new Relance label, the dual Finansol and SRI labels.
