Sport & Performance Capital: the investment fund shapes up
The first startup companies supported by the Groupe BPCE investment fund dedicated to the sports economy were announced during the Global Sports Week event on February 6.
Groupe BPCE is a founding partner of Global Sports Week, a new gathering for players in the global sports economy staged for the very first time on February 6 and 7 in Paris.
It provided an opportunity for the “Sport & Performance Capital” fund to publicize its existence: a fund of around 80 million euros earmarked to finance startup companies and SMEs active in the sport and wellness sectors.
This investment fund is a concrete example of how Groupe BPCE companies mobilize their efforts in support of the sports economy at a local level. It has led to the selection of some fifteen companies in the sports economy whose development will be supported, financed and accompanied until 2029.
