This operation covers the acquisition and refinancing of the existing debt of a portfolio of 55 photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 7.2 megawatt-peak (MWp).

During the lockdown period, the Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC acted as an arranger, lender, agent, and account-holding bank – working in association with Bpifrance Financement (lender) and Natixis (hedging bank) – in the acquisition and refinancing of the existing debt of a portfolio of 55 photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 7.2 MWp. These facilities, located in southeastern France, generate the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 4,000 households.

All the parties involved in the transaction remained fully mobilized during the stay-at-home period, and were able to close the deal successfully thanks to the use of electronic signatures. Thanks to this operation, the Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC is contributing to the development of a new player in renewable energies in its territory.
