Clarisse Crémer

58th day of racing in the Vendée Globe: Clarisse Crémer rounds Cape Horn!

Clarisse rounded Cape Horn in 12th position and dedicated this key stage in the race to all the members of Team Banque Populaire! A video recap of this highly emotional moment.

After 58 days in the race, Clarisse on the Mono Banque Populaire X passed the last of the 3 milestones of this Vendée Globe during the night: the legendary Cape Horn at the tip of South America.

After the nightmarish end of the Pacific crossing, the passing of this milestone comes as quite a relief. Clarisse is now sailing north towards Les Sables d'Olonne, which she could reach in early February. The path ahead of her is still long with two oceans, a belt of doldrums, the Bay of Biscay, etc. to cross for the second time in the race! She dedicated her first rounding of Cap Horn to Team Banque Populaire, to all Groupe BPCE employees and to Association Lazare, of which she is a sponsor.
