August 25 – News about the night and daytime events

You don't want to miss out on any of the performances of our Paralympians? A brief summary of the main results is available here.

Tokyo, we’re off again! The competition is already well underway with the 28 Paralympians supported by the Group's companies.

For his first event in wheelchair fencing category B, the saber fencer Maxime Valet lost the bronze medal match to finish fourth. But the Toulouse native supported by the Banque Populaire Occitane hasn’t said his last word: this weekend he will be back competing in foil, his ‘lifelong’ discipline (click here to view his portrait), in individual and team events.

Alex Portal also missed the podium in the 100m butterfly S13 by one hundredth of a second. Inevitably disappointed, the new face of the French team and 19-year-old athlete supported by the Banque Populaire Val de France will also be able to make up for it in three other races in the next few days (100m backstroke, 400m freestyle S13, and 200m medley SM13).
