One of the highlights today was the conclusion of the Para table tennis qualifications, which proved successful for the five athletes sponsored by the Group's companies: Fabien Lamirault competing in the SM2 class supported by the Caisse d’Epargne Côte d’Azur, holder of both individual and team medals, Florian Merrien in SM3, supported by the Caisse d’Epargne Normandie and Maxime Thomas in SM4, supported by Banque Populaire Alsace Lorraine Champagne,(both of whom won bronze medals in Rio), Mattéo Bohéas in SM10 supported by the Fondation Banque Populaire and Lucas Créange in SM11, supported by Crédit Coopératif. The No.4 player worldwide in this specific category of adapted sport reserved for individuals with mental and intellectual disabilities, Lucas will be competing in the quarter finals tomorrow. The four others will also start their round of 16 tomorrow.
