Banque Palatine becomes the 1st sponsor of the Alice Milliat Foundation, the only foundation dedicated to women's sport

As a Premium Partner of the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024, Groupe BPCE's subsidiary is intensifying its involvement in sport and has undertaken to support the development of actions taken by the Alice Milliat Foundation under the aegis of the French Sports Foundation.

Helping to drive the recognition of women’s place in sport

The aim of this sponsorship agreement is to help boost the recognition of the place occupied by women in sport, and the place held by sportswomen in the national and international media. With this agreement, Banque Palatine also intends to give more tangible expression to its corporate values of commitment, diversity, ambition, and solidarity, values that Banque Palatine applies every day in favor of its customers and employees.

This sponsorship agreement will make it possible to finance grass-roots initiatives, educational and awareness-building campaigns designed to facilitate women’s access to sport, and to increase the visibility of sportswomen in society at large. Promotional and fundraising activities will also be organized with the support of Banque Palatine, notably on the occasion of the centenary of the creation by Alice Milliat of the International Women's Sports Federation, to be celebrated on October 31st later this year.

At the same time, the partners will also work together to set up a networking club comprised of influential sportswomen aimed at creating an open dialogue between the world of sport and the world of business. The first initiative supported is the production of the documentary Les Incorrectes (“Improper Women”), which, thanks to a dialogue between past and present sportswomen, will enable viewers to rediscover the extraordinary destiny of Alice Milliat, an athlete, business leader, and militant in the struggle to enhance recognition for the place of women in sport. The film will be premiered in November at the first European film festival devoted to women's sport organized in Nice by the Alice Milliat Foundation in collaboration with the Musée du Sport sports museum, and Banque Palatine.

Banque Palatine, a bank dedicated to serving the needs of intermediate-sized enterprises and the needs of their directors, and to providing private banking services, is committed to forging long-term relationships with its customers based on close personal contacts, the acknowledged expertise of its business lines, high value-added consultancy services, and tailor-made solutions.
