Climate change: the challenge of our times and a strategic priority for Groupe BPCE
During the European Sustainable Development Week, an initiative lasting three weeks starting on September 18, Groupe BPCE will be reviewing its climate-related ambitions and the actions taken in this area.
By joining the Net Zero Banking Alliance in July 2021, an international initiative aimed at achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, Groupe BPCE reasserted its commitment to a more sustainable economy and made it a priority action area for all its business lines and all its companies.
This is why the climate has been made a core pillar of its new strategic plan “BPCE 2024". Thanks to this enhanced focus, Groupe BPCE is giving fresh momentum to the drive initiated several years ago by its businesses in the area of environmental protection.
