Crédit Coopératif, a Groupe BPCE company, is continuing its efforts in favor of a more responsible economy

On May 31 earlier this year, 99.1% of Crédit Coopératif's cooperative shareholders voted to adopt the Manifeste pour une autre banque as a founding text for its corporate purpose. This ‘Manifesto for a different kind of bank’ defines the company’s cooperative principles and societal commitments, and has been one of the bank’s reference documents since 2014.

On June 4, Crédit Coopératif signed up to the French Government’s Impact platform, launched by the Secretariat of the Minister of State for the Social, Inclusive, and Responsible Economy on May 27 with a view to promoting greater economic responsibility. Crédit Coopératif is the first bank to have published its indicators on this platform.

Crédit Coopératif's registration on the Impact platform is the logical continuation of its drive to ensure that its activities have a positive effect on the planet and on society at large by supporting the development of a real economy with high social and environmental added value. The platform also enables companies to publish data about their environmental, social and governance performance.
