Dominique Goursolle-Nouhaud, the first woman to be elected President of the European Savings Banks Group
The first woman president of the European Savings and Retail Banking Group (ESBG) is French!
Dominique Goursolle-Nouhaud, President of the National Federation of French Savings Banks, was recently elected head of the ESBG for a three-year term. She succeeds Helmut Schleweis, President of Deutscher Sparkassen– und Giroverband (the German Savings Banks Association).
With the other members of the ESBG (23 members in 18 countries), she will represent the specific business model of savings banks, cooperative banks and other retail banking institutions at the European level.
