On March 16, with five months to go before the start of the Tokyo Games, Paris 2024 convened a meeting of its board of directors with a view to confirming the climate strategy of the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024. This strategy is founded on three key principles: reducing greenhouse gas emissions linked to the event as much as possible, providing massive support for climate-positive projects, and mobilizing as many people as possible to multiply the impact of its actions.
In this way, Paris 2024 will play its part in the fight against global warming and is committed to organizing the first sports event with a positive contribution to the climate!
