The Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC offers students a helping hand

The Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC is launching a massive plan of action to combat financial and social insecurity among students by offering a total of €200,000 in support to associations in its catchment area in the course of 2021.

The Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC, which has always been committed to helping young people, is giving a helping hand to needy students to enable them to pursue their studies under the best possible conditions, and to allow them to prepare their future careers with greater peace of mind. This initiative sets out to attain three objectives: to provide students facing financial difficulties with the wherewithal to continue their studies under satisfactory conditions; to help the students most suffering from persistent insecurity to forge ties with the business world; and to encourage and support the entrepreneurial spirit.

This commitment has already found concrete expression in a grant of €45,000 to FAMI, the Aix-Marseille inter-association federation (Fédération Aix-Marseille Interasso), to support students in situations of financial difficulty and psychological distress.

CEPAC has also offered its support to AIUTU STUDIENTINU, a student association based in Corsica, in the form of a €7,000 grant to meet growing demand from needy students (financing the purchase of essential goods and the acquisition of equipment for the association).
Other commitments, notably in the area of housing, will subsequently be made to further strengthen this support offered to students.
