The Group, winner of the Trophées du Numérique Responsable

The Group was presented this prize for responsible digital technology in the ‘organizational strategy and responsible digital technology’ category at the awards ceremony staged by the Institut du Numérique Responsable at Bercy on December 16.

Supported by Barbara Pompili, Minister of the Ecological Transition in the French government, and Cédric O, Secretary of State for the Digital Economy, the aim of this prize, presented this year for the very first time, is to reward any initiative designed to reduce the societal, economic and environmental footprint of digital technology. 

For the Group, this award comes as recognition for its actions in this area, notably: the resources devoted to this issue, the organization set up around its Responsible Digital Technology function, its relationships with stakeholders both within and outside BPCE, and the commitments made by the Group within the framework of its new strategic plan ‘BPCE 2024.’ In particular, the Group has set itself the goal of reducing the carbon footprint of its IT systems by 15% and of improving the energy efficiency of its data centers by 10%.
