The sports economy: Groupe BPCE will be attending Global Sports Week

Global Sports Week is back and will be held from February 2-5, 2021. Groupe BPCE, a founding partner of this event, will be taking part in the second edition, organized virtually this year, of this major event in the world of sport.

This event provides an opportunity for the Group, a Premium Partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games, to reassert its position as a leading banking group in the sports economy, to showcase its expertise, and to promote its commitment and actions in favor of all those involved in the world of sport.

A host of presentations staged throughout the week (workshops, master classes, round tables) will enable experts from the Group and its companies (including, notably, Crédit Coopératif, Joinly, and Seventure) to discuss a number of issues of fundamental importance for this sector such as:

  • The impact of the health crisis on the sports economy,
  • Sponsorship, an opportunity to develop partnership ties between the world of sport and the world of business,
  • Sport and disability,
  • Fundraising and investments, how to succeed?
  •  The digital transformation in sport.

A major event in the world of sport

We would like to remind readers that Global Sports Week brings together international leaders in the sports economy to provide them with an opportunity to imagine the future, get things moving, discuss matters, and lay the foundations for the sport of tomorrow. Organized in a digital format this year, the event will take place live from six cities of global stature on four different continents: Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, Dakar, Los Angeles, and Milan. With all venues connected live thanks to a groundbreaking digital platform, the event will offer exclusive content, well-known speakers, discussions, and high level debates... Nearly 10,000 participants are expected to attend this digital edition from February 2 to 5.
