Laurent Mignon becomes President of the French Banking Federation as of September 1, 2022

Laurent Mignon, Chairman of the Management Board of Groupe BPCE, succeeds Nicolas Théry, Chairman of Crédit Mutuel, to become Chairman of the French Banking Federation (FBF) as of September 1, 2022.

Frédéric Oudéa, Chief Executive Officer of Société Générale, becomes Vice-Chairman of the FBF and Philippe Heim, Chairman of the Executive Board of La Banque Postale, has been appointed Treasurer. The other members of the FBF Executive Committee are Jean-Laurent Bonnafé, Director and CEO of BNP Paribas, Philippe Brassac, CEO of Crédit Agricole SA, and Nicolas Théry, Chairman of Crédit Mutuel. 
The FBF, created in 2001, represents the 334 French and foreign banks operating in France. It is involved in all banking and financial regulatory issues at the French, European and international levels, as well as in all matters relating to the role played by banks in society. It also has offices in Brussels and Frankfurt.
