A new run of fine results for Groupe BPCE athletes

Athletes supported by Groupe BPCE companies are achieving some extremely good results.

The French women’s 3x3 basketball team win silver in the world cup! The French team, who were the defending champions, were outplayed in the final by the United States (16-12) last Sunday in Vienna (Austria). Laetitia Guapo, supported by the Caisse d'Epargne Auvergne Limousin, was named one of the top three players in the competition. With this silver medal, the French team finished on the World Cup podium for the fourth time in succession after winning gold in 2022 and bronze in 2019 and 2018.

At the Gymnastics World Challenge Cup in Tel Aviv, Marine Boyer, supported by Crédit Coopératif via the Performance Pact, won a gold medal on the balance beam event.

Victorious over Stade Français team in the play-offs, Racing 92 rugby players will be facing Toulouse in the Top 14 semi-finals on June 9 in San-Sébastien north of Limoges in central France. The date for the encounter has been set!

Last but not least, French athletes won six medals in the European Para Triathlon Championships: gold (cat. PTVI) with Antoine Perel, supported by the Caisse d'Epargne Hauts de France via the Performance Pact, silver with Jules Ribstein and Annouck Curzillat, supported respectively by the Caisse d'Epargne Grand Est Europe and the Caisse d'Epargne Rhône Alpes via the Performance Pact, and bronze (cat. PTS5) with Gwladys Lemoussu, supported by the Banque Populaire Grand Ouest via the Performance Pact, Mona Francis, supported by the Caisse d'Epargne Bretagne Pays de Loire via the Performance Pact, and finally Thibaut Rigaudeau (cat. PTVI), prizewinner of the Banque Populaire Foundation.
Congratulations to them all! 

And it’s not finished yet! At the Alpes Gresivaudan Classic cycling race, Evita Muzic, supported by the Caisse d'Epargne Bourgogne Franche Comté via the Performance Pact, triumphed in the competition and won her first victory of the 2023 season. Gold too for Axel Mazella, supported by Banque Populaire Méditerranée, who came 1st in the Formula Kite World Cup staged in the Netherlands.  Finally, at the Canoe World Cup in Augsburg, Germany, Angèle Hug, supported by the Caisse d'Epargne Loire Drôme Ardèche via the Performance Pact, won the silver medal.
