Senior citizens: the Habitat en Région Group makes a commitment to elderly tenants

The Caisses d'Epargne’s social housing operator announces a national program for its elderly tenants.

The Habitat en Région Group, a subsidiary of the Caisses d'Epargne (Groupe BPCE) and the second largest private social housing operator in France, has announced the launch of a national program for elderly tenants.

In order to provide them with a caring, secure living environment tailored to their specific needs, the Habitat en Région Group has made a number of concrete commitments, such as the development of local services, including carers, and the roll-out of a large-scale training program for local staff. A personalized diagnosis will be offered to 20,000 tenants aged 75 or more by the end of 2024, following the prior identification of their support and home improvement requirements, after the completion of 5,600 diagnoses in 2022.
