The Caisse d'Epargne Bretagne Pays de Loire offers a financial solution to victims of domestic violence

The Caisse d'Epargne Bretagne Pays de Loire enables victims of domestic violence to open bank accounts free of charge.

Since March 1, the Caisse d'Epargne Bretagne Pays de Loire has been offering victims of domestic violence a solution that includes the use of a personal bank account entirely free of charge for the first two years along with the possibility of benefitting from an overdraft facility.  By providing easy access to a bank account, this solution enables victims to receive their social benefits themselves, a key element to help them gain their autonomy.

This service reinforces the so-call Létard law, a bill designed to create a comprehensive system of emergency aid for victims of domestic violence, approved by French MPs on February 16, 2023. This service has already been rolled out in the Brittany and Pays de Loire regions.
