On the way to the 2024 César Awards with Natixis Coficiné

14 films selected by the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma (Academy of the Cinema Arts and Techniques) for consideration in the 2024 César Awards were financed by Natixis Coficiné, a subsidiary of Groupe BPCE specializing in providing financing for the film and audiovisual industries.

The 49th César award-giving ceremony will be held on February 23 at the L'Olympia concert venue in Paris… and the nominees are: 

-    The Animal Kingdom, directed by Thomas Cailley – 11 nominations,
-    Anatomy of a Fall, directed by Justine Triet – 9 nominations,
-    The Goldman Case, directed by Cédric Kahn – 7 nominations,
   The Three Musketeers - D'Artagnan (Part 1) and Milady (Part 2), directed by Martin Bourboulon – 6 nominations,
-    Junkyard Dog, directed by Jean-Baptiste Durand – 5 nominations,
-    Just the Two of Us, directed by Valérie Donzelli – 4 nominations,
   The Taste of Things, directed by Tran Anh Hung – 3 nominations,
-    Jeanne du Barry, directed by Maïwenn – 2 nominations,
-    Consent, directed by Vanessa Filho – 2 nominations,
-    Marguerite’s Theorem, directed by Anna Novion – 2 nominations,
-    Infested, directed by Sébastien Vanicek – 1 nomination,
-    The Mountain, directed by Thomas Salvador – 1 nomination,
-    No Love Lost, directed by Erwan Le Duc – 1 nomination,

This is a record for Natixis Coficiné, the No.1 player in the European market, which will continue to ride this wave of success until the Oscar ceremony on March 11 with two films in the competition: Io Capitano, directed by Matteo Garrone, and Anatomy of a Fall, directed by Justine Triet, a film that won the Palme d'or at Cannes in 2023.
