In the 5th week of its Tour de France, the Paris 2024 Olympic Flame traveled through the Vendée, Loire, Morbihan and Finistère départements in northwestern France before setting sail across the Atlantic on board one of the world’s fastest sailing yachts: the Maxi Banque Populaire XI.
And on Sunday, for the first time ever in the history of the Torch Relay, the Olympic Flame shone in one of France’s overseas territories: French Guiana!
