An unparalleled community to get the general public actively involved in the adventure of the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games
Enabling fans to share a unique experience leading up to the 2024 Paris Games, getting the spectators down on the field and encouraging them to become active participants: this is the ambition of the Paris 2024 Club whose existence was announced on July 21st by Tony Estanguet, President of the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Paris Games.
Moving, enjoying, sharing, getting involved
The concept: once Club members have registered on the platform, they will enjoy a host of advantages and will be eligible to play an active role at the heart of the Paris 2024 adventure.
The Club’s ‘sporting’ starting pistol will be fired this Sunday July 26th with the launch of the first of many challenges staged with the support of several well-known athletes.
It will begin by focusing on basketball. Eighty selected amateurs will have the unique opportunity to pit their skills against Tony Parker, the best French player, and his team of star players on a 3×3 basketball court.
A host of other challenges will allow the general public to compete throughout the summer and the month of September in a wide range of disciplines with the greatest French athletes.
Three athletes supported by the companies of Groupe BPCE, Premium Partner of the Paris 2024 Games, will also be taking part in the challenges.
These athletes are Marie-Amélie Le Fur, a para-athlete and record-holder in the long jump and 400-meter sprint events supported by the Caisse d’Epargne Loire-Centre; Charlotte Fairbank, a rising star in French wheelchair tennis sponsored by Natixis; and finally, Carlota Dudek – alias “B-Girl Carlota” – a member of the French breakdance team encouraged by the Caisse d’Epargne CEPAC.
With the Club Paris 2024, enjoy the unique moments and emotions of the Olympic Games from the inside!
