The athletes sponsored by the Group’s different companies express their thanks to the people fighting the pandemic.
Their names are Luka and Nikola Karabatic, Laura Flippes, Alexandra Lacrabère, Nedim Remili, Allison Pineau, Gnonsiane Niombla, Ludovic Fabregas, Camille Ayglon-Saurina but also Armel Le Cléac’h, Clarisse Crémer, Charline Picon, Aude Compan, Kévin Péponnet, Anaïs Mai Desjardins, Jonathan Lobert, Pierre Lecoq and Dan Carter… and they would like to say “Thank you!”
Several players from the French handball team, along with the Banque Populaire skippers and members of the French sailing team, gave public thanks to all the healthcare workers and, more broadly, all those who, like the employees of Groupe BPCE, are mobilized to help their customers during this difficult period.
Forming part of the wave of popular initiatives organized in favor of all those dedicated to helping the French population, a series of videos featuring the athletes is broadcast at regular intervals on the social media set up by the Banque Populaire et Caisse d’Epargne brands.
Encouraging the population in the lockdown period
Since March, several sportsmen and women – some of whom are members of the so-called ‘Performance Pact,’ a support program set up by the Group’s companies to assist them in their sporting careers and to help them achieve their professional projects – have been speaking out to encourage all those at the forefront of this fight against the pandemic… but also to share with customers and employees an account of their daily lives, somewhat disrupted during this lockdown period: physical preparation, training sessions, offbeat and humorous messages, etc…
This is the case, for example, of rugby player Dan Carter and of Charlotte Fairbank, ambassadors for Natixis, Manon Genest, supported by CASDEN, Gaëlle Edon for Banque Palatine, Anouck Jaubert, and Loïc Vergnaud for the Caisse d’Epargne Loire Drôme Ardèche, Timothée Adolphe for Banque Populaire Val de France, Théo Curin and Marie Oteiza for the BPCE Community and the seven sportsmen and women supported by the Caisse d’Epargne Bourgogne Franche-Comté.
The athletes sponsored by Groupe BPCE companies are mobilizing their efforts and we, too, can thank them for this!
