The Caisse d’Epargne CEPAC, the 21st Groupe BPCE company to sign the Cancer@work charter

Wednesday, 14 october 2020

On October 6, the Caisse d’Epargne CEPAC signed the Cancer@work charter with a view to accompanying and supporting its employees facing cancer or a chronic disease.

The Caisse d’Epargne CEPAC thus joins the 20 Group companies* that have already signed the charter. This commitment is part of the “Cancer, chronic diseases, and work” initiative launched in 2016 by Groupe BPCE’s Human Resources Department to better reconcile illness and work and to raise awareness of these issues among Group personnel and managers.

In 2019, two Group companies, Banque Populaire Val de France and Caisse d’Epargne Loire-Centre, were also awarded the Cancer@work Label. This certification, aligned with the social responsibility standards of the Global Reporting Initiative**, promotes actions taken to promote the inclusion of the infirm in the professional environment.

Within the framework of the ‘Pink October’ campaign, Groupe BPCE is extending its commitment by carrying out numerous actions throughout France to raise awareness about the need to screen for breast cancer.
