The Caisse d’Epargne Normandie offers young people its support

The Caisse d’Epargne Normandie, acutely aware that the ongoing crisis is having a severe impact on young people – and on recent graduates in particular – and wanting to step up its efforts aimed at the professional integration and employment of young people, recently launched an ambitious “Youth Plan” for their benefit.

This plan contributes to the #1jeune1solution (“1youngperson1solution”) scheme set up by the French Ministry of Employment & Integration and to the “2,000 internships in Normandy” initiative launched by the Normandy Region.

This commitment will find expression in a number of flagship measures:

• A 2020 recruitment plan geared towards young people, with the finalization of more than 200 new hires by the end of the year. 100 of these new recruits will be young people under the age of 26, half of whom will be offered permanent contracts and 1/3 will be taken on under work-study contracts.
• The goal of welcoming 40 young graduates on internships within the framework of the regional “2000 internships” scheme to enable them to put what they have learned into practice and to discover the different aspects of the banking profession*.
• A 2021 target of doubling the number of apprenticeship and special vocational training contracts. The bank’s efforts in 2021 will focus on maintaining the same level of recruitment on permanent contracts as in 2020. The number of apprenticeship and vocational training contracts will also be doubled to reach 70 young people on work-study programs in the company.
• The financial support received for hiring young people under the age of 26** will be invested in welcoming even more interns in 2021, boosting the number of internships to 70.
• The creation of an inclusive Normandy Campus designed to bring together as many companies as possible and to encourage them to hire young people, train them, promote their professional integration and prepare the future.
