Louis-San, who is also present in Japan, takes the athletes of the French delegation on a virtual tour of the historic district of Asakusa.
We’re there at last… and the French athletes have finally landed in Tokyo! Deeply immersed in their respective events and limited in their movements by the health situation, the athletes in the French delegation will have neither the time nor the opportunity to visit the Japanese capital.
To allow the French Olympic & Paralympic Team to discover the diversity of Japanese culture and the beauty of the city of Tokyo, Groupe BPCE asked Louis-San, a famous young Franco-Japanese YouTuber, to produce a web series of seven light-hearted episodes.
This 6th episode is devoted to a tour of Asakusa, Tokyo’s famed historic district… and tourist trap! With its Buddhist temple, Thunder Gate and fortune tellers, the rich traditions of this bustling district will hold no secrets for the French athletes.
You, too, can discover this historic part of the Japanese capital thanks to this new episode. And if you missed any of the previous ones, they’re still available here:
Episode 1 – Basic Language tips
Episode 2 – Japanese social etiquette
Episode 3 – Eating in Japan
Episode 4 – The cultural differences France/Japan
Episode 5 – Traditional Japanese sports
