Tokyo : Groupe BPCE behind the French Olympic & Paralympic Team!

The finest of all sports competitions has now begun! As a partner of the French Olympic & Paralympic Team, Groupe BPCE will be living on Tokyo time for the duration of the sporting events.

More than 500 French athletes will be defending the colors of France in Tokyo… and more than 130 of them directly associated with the Group (federal contract, performance pact, individual image contract, etc.) will be striving for glory in the Land of the Rising Sun. Seventy of these athletes enjoy individual support from our companies. To help readers to learn more about them (and to avoid missing any of their exploits!). Although a particular focus will be placed on the French basketball (5×5 and 3×3), handball, surfing, and sailing teams partnered by the Group, we will also be tracking the progress of all our athletes on a day-to-day basis throughout the competition.

As partners, sponsors, and patrons, the Group’s companies are involved on a daily basis with all the stakeholders in the world of sport: federations, clubs, associations, and local authorities. They also foster the performance of outstanding men and women through a major support program for high-level athletes, notably via the Performance Pact Foundation. 

Our employees: the No.1 supporters 

As the No.1 supporters of the French Olympic & Paralympic Team, the Group’s employees will also have an opportunity to share in this great sporting event, notably via Team IMAGINE 2024. Groupe BPCE’s in-house commitment platform – which has been living on Japanese time for the past few weeks – will be staging a large number of initiatives (mini-games, quizzes, videos, etc.) to unite its 100,000 employees throughout the duration of the different events.
