Two exhibitions celebrating the dialogue between cultures have just opened, the first at the Poldi Pezzoli museum in Milan which Natixis CIB is a patron of, and the second at the Royal Academy of Arts in London supported by Natixis. A great way to illustrate the international dimension of the BPCE Group.

In Milan, Natixis CIB is proud to be the patron of the first monographic exhibition dedicated to the Milanese painter Andréa Solario, “The Seduction of Colour: Andrea Solario and the Renaissance between Italy and France”, at the Poldi Pezzoli museum. Until the end of June, more than 30 exceptional works from international and Italian museums are presented on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the artist’s death. The museum Poldi Pezzoli, sumptuous residence of a collector of the nineteenth century, offers them a setting of choice.

Equally exceptional in London, Natixis supports the first major exhibition of Victor Hugo’s drawings in the UK for more than 50 years, “Astonishing Things: les dessins de Victor Hugo”. The Royal Academy of Arts celebrates the artistic works of the great French novelist and prominent 19th century public figure, best known as the author of The Hunchback of Notre-Dame and Les Misérables. This exhibition will present to the public a lesser-known facet of his work, inspired by his travels and exile in Jersey and Guernsey, in one of the UK’s major public galleries.
