Our research on the sports industry

Because we consider that the sports industry is a sector in its own right and that a significant part of its activity passes virtually unnoticed, we decided to create a BPCE L’Observatoire report specifically devoted to the sports economy.

This economic, statistical, and behavioral analysis conducted by our economists – and unprecedented in its scope – sets out to understand the significance of the sports industry in France, to identify all the players in this sector along with the economic challenges it faces, and its specific local and regional characteristics.
