Activities

Banque Populaire Rives de Paris, a resolutely cooperative, responsible, and innovative bank, supports the economic and social dynamics of its catchment areas in the Île-de-France region and Oise département. With its 2,800 employees and a network of over 200 branches, it builds close, long-term relationships with its 734,000 customers, a total that includes 226,000 cooperative shareholders. The active, participatory qualities of its cooperative business model and its integration in its local communities find notable expression in six cooperative meetings in five administrative départements (Essonne, Val-d’Oise, Hauts-de-Seine, Val-de-Marne and Paris), attracting 1,500 participants in 2024. Further proof of the dynamism of its cooperative life is the fact that Banque Populaire Rives de Paris gained 7,000 new cooperative shareholders in the same year.

Committed to stimulating local employment, the bank recruited 480 employees on permanent contracts in 2024 and became the first Banque Populaire bank to obtain the ‘Top Employer’ label, a distinction awarded for the quality of its human resources policy.A key player in the revitalization and animation of its local communities, Banque Populaire Rives de Paris was a Premium Partner of the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024. As an official sponsor of the Torch Relays, which passed through eight towns and cities in its catchment area, the Bank mobilized nearly 200 employees, 24 children of employees, and 37 customers around this unifying event. The Bank also offered its employees 5,000 tickets to the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.

True to its values of social responsibility, the Bank supports solidarity initiatives through skills-based sponsorship and its Corporate Foundation. Through this Foundation, the Bank committed €1.2 million in 2024 to strengthen the work of local associations working in the areas of social integration and solidarity. Finally, in line with its environmental commitments, it has reduced its consumption of electricity by more than 8% across all its sites and encouraged its employees to become involved in World Clean Up Days 2024.

Sport & Patronage

Since 2020, the Bank has supported six elite athletes and para athletes through the Performance Pact program launched by the French Sports Foundation. With the guidance and encouragement of the Bank, three of these athletes were proud to qualify for the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024; they included Thibaut Rigaudeau, who won a silver medal in the para triathlon event.

Building on this success and convinced of the pivotal role played by sport in society as well as the necessary involvement of the business community in supporting athletes, Banque Populaire Rives de Paris, like Groupe BPCE as a whole, is taking its commitment one step further: as of 2026, it will be supporting seven athletes and para athletes for a four-year period. This sponsorship, dedicated to sports disciplines enjoying the status of emblems of its territory, reflects the Bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting talented sportsman and women while simultaneously remaining aligned with the principles of the Performance Pact.
