Activities
Banque Populaire du Sud is a regional cooperative bank present in nine French départements – Ariège, Aude, Bouches du Rhône, Drôme, Gard, Hérault, Lozère, Pyrénées-Orientales, and the southern part of Ardèche – and operating under four brand names: Banque Populaire du Sud, Banque Dupuy, de Parseval, Banque Marze, and Crédit Maritime Méditerranée.
In 2019, it gave permanent contracts to more than 123 new employees, chiefly from the region, and offered work-study contracts to some 100 young people. Attached to professional diversity in all its forms, the “Professional Equality” label awarded by the AFNOR standardization body was confirmed for 2019. Banque Populaire du Sud is engaged in a massive drive to provide training (55,511 hours of training in 2019) to help its employees enhance their skills.
The modernity of Banque Populaire du Sud finds expression in its active pursuit of cooperation in which proximity of decision-making centers is combined with short financing channels, where customers’ savings are entirely allocated to financing projects initiated by economic players in our region. Beyond that, cooperation is also expressed in the overwhelming importance given to the bank's sustainability over the long term.
