Banque Populaire du Sud is a regional cooperative bank present in nine French départements – Ariège, Aude, Bouches du Rhône, Drôme, Gard, Hérault, Lozère, Pyrénées-Orientales, and the southern part of Ardèche – and operating under four brand names: Banque Populaire du Sud, Banque Dupuy, de Parseval, Banque Marze, and Crédit Maritime Méditerranée.
In 2020, it gave permanent contracts to 84 new employees, chiefly applicants from the region, and offered work-study contracts to some 100 young people. Attached to professional diversity in all its forms, Banque Populaire du Sud has boasted possession of the Professional Equality label issued by AFNOR for the past several years. The bank is also engaged in a massive drive to provide training (70,729 hours of training in 2020) to help its employees enhance their skills.
