The Caisse d'Epargne Côte d'Azur is a cooperative bank dedicated to serving the needs of its region. It provides support to nearly 680,000 customers, including 149,000 cooperative shareholders, through a network of 127 branches, 4 private banks, and 8 business centers thanks to the dedication and attentive service of its more than 1,600 employees.
The Caisse d'Epargne Côte d'Azur covers two French départements – the Alpes-Maritimes and the Var – in addition to the Principality of Monaco. It serves all types of customers: private individuals, professionals, companies, entities active in the social economy, institutions, and local authorities.
It also supports the region's economic growth sectors via specific structures dedicated to boating, prestige real estate, winegrowing, perfumery, tourism, and the sports/health economy. It provides the optimum level of service in all its different business areas: insurance, the collection and management of savings deposits, the disbursement of loans, means of payment equipment, asset management, and real estate projects. The Caisse d'Epargne Côte d'Azur is part of Groupe BPCE, which was formed by the merger of the Caisses d'Epargne and Banques Populaires.
Significant support to regional associations and sports activities
The Caisse d'Epargne Côte d'Azur has been historically committed to serving the needs of its territories and to being an active agent of change. This commitment is consistent with its cooperative business model as a 100% regional banking/insurance company playing a pioneering role in societal transitions and an institution wholly owned by its cooperative shareholders.
For many years, the savings bank has been a convinced promoter of corporate philanthropy, lending its support to local players by sponsoring and highlighting their actions. In 2022, the Caisse d'Epargne Côte d'Azur devoted 988,743 euros to CSR, including 84,198 euros in support of 11 solidarity projects developed by local and regional associations. It fully intends to pursue and expand this active partnership and sponsorship policy in the years to come.
It also supports entities active in its regional sports sector of its region and, with its sponsorship of several sports clubs, makes a positive contribution to local life by favoring the practice of sport for all and the emergence of new sporting talent. As a Premium Partner bank of the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024, the Caisse d'Epargne Côte d'Azur supports 4 high-level French athletes: Elodie Lorandi, Margot Chevrier, Fabien Lamirault, and Léo Bergère.
