Activities
As a top-tier banking institution, the Caisse d'Epargne Grand Est Europe gives expression to the long-standing values and contemporary ambitions of the French savings banks: close customer relationships, solidarity with local players, commitment to society, innovation, and local & regional development.
It is recognized as a major player in the regional economy, chiefly in its dealings with companies, professionals, local communities, associations, social housing, etc.
Its head office in Strasbourg and the borders it shares with four European countries, including Germany, are gateways for cross-border activity, mainly with its German banking partners, the Sparkassen.
Sport & Patronage
With its Foundation and Endowment Fund, the Caisse d'Epargne Grand Est Europe supports a large number of initiatives in its determined drive to engage in corporate social responsibility.
As a partner of numerous cultural institutions, associations and sports clubs, the Caisse d'Epargne Grand Est Europe is also mobilized in favor of its local catchment areas within the framework of the partnership between Groupe BPCE and the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024. It has set up a dedicated website to allow its customers to benefit from the economic opportunities linked to the Paris 2024 Games.
It also supports a number of athletes from the Grand Est region as they prepare for the Paris 2024 Games: Jules Ribstein (para triathlete), Clémence Beretta (race walking), Cyrielle Lefèvre (eventing rider), Tom Henrionnet (swimming), and Chloé Valentini (handball). It also sponsors the biathlete Emilien Claude in his winter-sport competitions.
