Activities

The Caisse d'Epargne Grand Est Europe – a bank that is 100% cooperative, 100% regional, and 100% useful to the economic, social and environmental development of its territory – supports all its clientele of families, professionals and companies in the realization of their various projects.  In 2022, the 30 billion euros in its customers’ savings deposits enabled it to grant more than 72,000 loans for an aggregate total of nearly 5 billion euros.

Its current 338,000 cooperative shareholders are the principal actors of its cooperative business model. It is also an attractive employer in the region, taking on more than 200 recruits on permanent contracts in 2022 in addition to welcoming 120 students on work-study programs.

Its head office in Strasbourg and the borders it shares with four European countries, including Germany, provide gateways for cross-border activities.
