Activities

2022 will remain a year of major recognition for the Caisse d'Epargne Hauts de France (CEHDF) when it obtained ‘B-Corp’ certification. This international label has been awarded since 2006 to organizations capable of satisfying a wide range of demanding criteria related to environmental and societal issues.

In its detailed analysis of all the different aspects of the bank, B Corp confirmed the positive impact of bank’s day-to-day action on its local catchment area: the environment, societal engagement (employment, inclusion, sponsorship, etc.), customers (products, services, support for the most vulnerable members of society), employees, and corporate governance. CEHDF is the only B-Corp certified bank in the Hauts-de-France region and the fact of earning this pioneering label is a source of immense pride for its 3,000 employees and 350 directors.

The Caisse d'Epargne intends to stay the course in this area and continue to deserve, over the long term, the trust already placed in it.

Sport & Patronage

The Caisse d'Epargne Hauts de France is a partner of several celebrated running races in the region (urban trails, the Route du Louvre, the Lille half marathon, etc.) but it also provides active support to the region's professional clubs such as the Gothiques ice-hockey club in Amiens and the BCM Gravelines, Saint Quentin SQBB, and Villeneuve d'Ascq ESBVA basketball clubs.

Every year, its Corporate Foundation launches a call for projects on the theme of sport and health, and this year it was launched with Decathlon, the sporting goods retailer! Through its Corporate Foundation, it finances associations and projects whose everyday activities focus on promoting social integration through sport.

And, to conclude, the question of employment has not been forgotten; the bank plays an active role in the Du stade vers l'emploi (‘From stadium to employment’) program.
