The Caisse d'Epargne Normandie, the only bank to cover the whole of Normandy, serves all types of customers: individuals, professionals, businesses, start-ups, players in the social economy, real estate and social housing sectors, protected persons, institutions and local authorities. The bank strives to provide the best possible level of service in all areas: collection and management of savings & deposits, loans, payment equipment, wealth management, real estate, insurance, etc.
In its capacity as a cooperative, digital and local banking institution, it is a major contributor to regional economic development. The savings & deposits it collects locally are reinvested in the region to finance major local projects and businesses. Through its equity activity, it is also in a position to support these ventures by acquiring a stake in their capital.
As a company pursuing a philanthropic mission, the Caisse d'Epargne Normandie is the leading Normandy sponsor of the social & solidarity economy and of the voluntary sector, and is the first French bank to be awarded the B-Corp label.
Sport & Patronage
In 2017, the Caisse d'Epargne Normandie became an official partner of the HAC Handball women's team. This meaningful partnership, beyond the image it portrays, is perfectly in tune with the actions undertaken to support those who help to enhance the influence of Normandy beyond its borders. It also demonstrates the desire to promote gender equality in sport. This partnership is part of the national Esprit Handball initiative.
In 2018, the bank also became a partner of the Vikings, a men's handball team from Caen.
Within the framework of Groupe BPCE's partnership with the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024, the Caisse d'Epargne Normandie, true to its values of social inclusion, will be supporting Florian Merrien, a high-level sportsman from Normandy ranked third worldwide in disabled table tennis, for a period of four years.
