Activities

The Caisse d'Epargne Normandie was the first French bank to be awarded B-Corp certification for its social commitments. “A pioneer in savings, financial education, and social housing, a bank committed to promoting the attractiveness and sustainable growth of Normandy, the Caisse d'Epargne Normandie supports local residents, entrepreneurs and economic players in the pursuit of their different life paths and projects.”

This corporate mission is enshrined in its Articles of Association and serves as the basis for all its actions in favor of its local catchment area. As a bank that is 100% cooperative, 100% Norman, and 100% useful to the economic, social and environmental development of its territory, its actions and decisions are defined at the local level, as close as possible to its customers. This is how the Caisse d'Epargne Normandie can most usefully serve them.
Strengthening its positive impact by accompanying the transitions and transformations of its region remains its key priority.

As a company pursuing a philanthropic mission, the Caisse d'Epargne Normandie is one of the leading Normandy sponsors of the social & solidarity economy and of the voluntary sector.

Sport & Patronage

The Caisse d'Epargne Normandie, which has for several years been a partner of the Vikings Caen Handball and the HAC Handball women's team, has strengthened its commitment to sport by supporting the following teams: Damigny Alençon US Basket, JS Cherbourg Handball, ALM Evreux Basket Eure, Bayard Argentan Table Tennis, and Rouen Normandie Rugby.

Within the framework of its partnership with the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024, the Caisse d'Epargne Normandie is also supporting Florian Merrien, an elite sportsman from Normandy ranked third worldwide in disabled table tennis, Margaux Bailleul, a young rowing champion from Le Havre, and Kevin Campion, a race walk champion from Dieppe, as they prepare for this major sporting event.
At the same time, the bank is financing a 3x3 basketball court in Le Havre to encourage all members of the public to take up this sporting discipline; it is also a partner of the multi-sports facility in the MoHo center in Caen.
